RESOURCE: Tests and Procedures

A new post over at the DiabetesSisters blog gives an overview of test that all people with diabetes should have.  You can check it out here: https://diabetessisters.org/article/what-does-it-all-mean-common-tests-and-procedures

Are you familiar with these tests?  Do you have them regularly?

Honestly, I'm not familiar with that last one, CRP, and I'm not sure I've ever had it.  I only get my blood pressure and A1C checked every 6 months.  The rest I have checked annually, which they recommend.  (Although I'll admit, I'm overdue for my eye exam.)

How about you?

What about dental checks?  Seems like I've read that people with diabetes have higher risks of gum disease and other problems in the mouth.
