Karen, thanks for posting this video! I love hearing about your garden. I, too, love to enjoy the fruits and veggies of my labor and have a summer garden that I get started right about now. Last weekend, the temps in Chicagoland allowed me to transplant some herbs from under my lamp (basil, dill and mint) and then I started two tomato plants, I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will grow in the next 45 days.

The Spring also allows me time to plan the outdoor space at home to get ready for the warmer weather. I've got projects on the mind - repaving some steps, clearing out a path for new mulch and other things.

Happy Spring!

Anna, sounds delicious and also like you'll be getting plenty of exercise.

I love my herb garden and have been missing my fresh herbs all winter.  I do basil, Italian parsley, oregano, chives, cilantro, rosemary, thyme and sage.  Oh, and mint, because my husband makes excellent sugar-free mojitos!!

Thanks, Donna.  As it turned out, I think it was a regular cold - I was sick and feverish most of last week.  Luckily it seems to have passed though.  Spring colds are the worst!

I enjoy gardening with all the planting, picking, pulling, pruning, weeding, watering...  I don't even notice that I'm getting exercise.  I love the delicious harvest, and having healthy gifts to give to my friends and family.  I don't have much space for veggies, but plant herbs on in pots on my deck. Favorites are basil, parsley, rosemary, lavender, thyme, and dill
