The American Association of Diabetes Educators has a page of resources for patients that includes some terrific printable tip sheets.  Most of these tip sheets are available both in English and in Spanish.  I’ll share them here, one at a time, and I hope you will check them out!

Resource in Brief: Exercise has many health benefits.  You should chose one that fits into your schedule, has realistic goals and that you enjoy doing.

I found this useful as I continue to try to get active.  (I don't like exercise, so I find excuses not to do it.). Do you find this sheet helpful?  Did any of the information or tips resonate with you?

The power of any movement for glucose control is amazing.  It does not matter what you do, just get more of any activity you can to lower blood sugars.  Be prepared for lows with carbs ahead of time or a reduced basal rate or bolus for the meal prior to exercise.
